Memories of Ray and Elsa

Created by fremarcoit 11 years ago
I have many fond memories of Elsa and Ray, of Elsa when she and the family moved to Calfornia from Rhode Island, and of Ray during their early wedded years. It was in the early 1950's when Elsa, her siblings and Mom moved to California and stayed with us (Uncle Joe, Aunt Mary and family) before establishing residency in Stockton. I remember how beautiful Elsa and her sister Olivia were and I was so proud to be their cousin. We were all so happy when she met Ray, Elsa was working at the Bank of Stockton at the time. When they married I think it was obvious to everyone that theirs was to be a happy life. They frequently visited my parents in the country; both Ray and Elsie loved to see the cows and pigs. As the years passed we were always delighted to follow Rays career and success; through it all he remained the same kind gentleman; humble, friendly and always interested in our lives. I know he will be greatly missed by his family. Mary and I will always remember him with great affection and admiration. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his beautiful children and wife, Elsa.
